3AM shake
One of my freinds drinks a protein shake at 3AM. Is this a smart idea?

It's a smart idea if that's what his dietary plan of attack calls for.

Alright well im figuring that your body is out of nutrients at that time and since your body builds mucles best while your asleep, shouldnt you provide it with some food. So lets say I start having a shake every morning, should I have some carbs or fats(probally fats) with it to? Also this should probally be figured into my daily cal and protein requirments to, right? So Im betting I should lower my cal and protein intake accordingly right?

I can't drink a shake prior to bed, cause it makes me piss all thru the night........
Non-interrupted sleep is very important!

Just eat pro/fat or casein right before you hit the sack and you'll be fine.

It's common sense to have to know his entire dietary plan of attack in order to say "YES" or "NO".
