High glycemic foods and drinks
I'm going to be carb loading tomorrow and the Body Opus book states I should be eating high glycemic foods at certain stages but also says to stay away from fructose. So does this mean high glycemic starches? I guess I just want to know if and when I can down some candy.
Also, what are some examples of glucose drinks? All of the drinks I can find have fructose or sucrose.
Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't DD give examples of what to eat in the periodical?

Not really. It says corn flakes. But there are many high glycemic foods that contain fructose.
It says nothing about liquid glucose drinks except that they are hard to find though the book is almost 10 yrs old.
Thanks man

Any high GI carb works on that program. Rice cakes, corn flakes, rice crispies, white rice, etc.
