    Too Much Protein?

Hey whatsup guys? I have a couple of questions. I've searched the forums and realized that what I found only somewhat touched on what I was trying to get at.

I'm taking a week off from cardio and lifting--I've been really tired lately, and have come down with a cold. So I figured this would be a good time to get some rest, and help my body recover some before I start up my cardio on Saturday morning. My meals during this week have been pretty much the following:

    1.Protein/Fat: 40-50 g protein/15-25 g fat
    2.Protein/Veggies
    3.Protein/Fat: 40-50 g protein/15-20 g fat
    4.Dinner: Protein/Carbs (10 g or less of fat, I'm positive--trying to not mix fat with carbs )
    5.Protein/Fat: 40-50 g protein/15-25 g fat

    Here's my questions:

1.How much protein can one's body actually handle in one sitting? Am I eating too much protein? Will the excess turn into fat?

2.When calculating my protein, fat, and carb intake in my macros, should I include the protein found in carbs and fats? The carbs and protein found in fats (ie nuts)? The fats found in carbs and proteins?

3.I know it's bad to down carbs later on in the day when ure not lifting, so is my diet on this off week bad? Should I construct it a little better?

    Here's my stats:
    5'8"
    165 lbs
    cutting

1 - varies from person to person, size, stature, genetics, slin sensitivity, ancillaries, etc.

2 - protein in "other" foods is usually an incomplete protein, does no good.

3 - If you are carb sensitive, watch carbs later in the day if they are not used for PWO.

I'm curious about this statement. Although nuts, cereals, beans, etc are incomplete proteins do you not benefit from the fact that they still supply BCAA's just not the full spectrum of aminos that come with Beef, Chicken, etc. Or would one have to combine two incomplete proteins with complementing Aminos like Peanut Butter and Wheat bread, or rice and beans to provide similar benefits as a complete protein source would? Now granted Peanut Butter and wheat bread would not provide the same "bang for the buck" as beef, but it would provide some extra aminos for cellular repair. Correct?

You need a complete amino acid pool.

    Ex: Beans/Rice.
