Rice cakes - almost no calories?

I always dissmised the thought of rice cakes, coz I thought they were a carb like any else, and since they taste like sh!t, I won't even bother, and then I read that one has like 10 kcal?!?!? Thats practicaly nothing. So would putting for example tuna and mayo on a rice cake count as a pro/fat meal since the carbs from the rice cake are so low and have such a low calorie count or would it still be a carb/pro/fat meal??? Also I guess a rice cake with sugar free jam would be a nice snack that wouldn't even count as a meal?
Also would carbs from a rice cake be complex or simple, or it doesn't even matter?

Btw. I'm cutting, thats where all the worries about kcal come from...........

Even I don't uderstand what I wrote ...but I hope someone will clear it up for me. Thanx in advance bros!

XXXXXXXXtremely high gi carb, no matter how "little" kcals it has.

Not a good idea to mix w/mayo needless to say.

Mike xxl suggested using rice cakes in his meal plan-which rocks by the way-
I love the taste of them over dextrose.

    But to each his own.

    Peace

Please understand that you said you were to mix it with mayo/tuna.

No-where was the talk of dextrose/rice cakes/using it as a high-gi carb after a workout mentioned.

I believe people should pay attention to the context of the message to provide accurate information.

I didn't want to quote anyone else, no.

I was pointing out that your question pertained to mayo/tuna on rice cakes, then there was a mention of dextrose and another plan, which have nothing to do w/your question.

So I wanted you to note the context of the responses, one of which addressed your question, one which had nothing to do with it.
