    Anyone here juice?

just bought a juicer and was wondering whats the best fruits and veggies to juice and drink at night or during the day to build muscle. Is it better to just eat the veggies and fruits? Any benefits to the juicer?

yeah man, by making your own juice you avoid getting the excess preservatives found in most fruit juices. you can even try making v8! possibilities are endless.

my favs are strawberry/kiwi or carrot/apple.........get creative!

Positive: Juicing the entire fruit/vegetables with the rinds/outer skins, and are drinking 100% of the pulp, it’s actually better than eating the actual whole fruit/vegetable. This is because it’s too difficult to eat the rinds of a lot of fruits and there’s lots of nutrients inside them.

Negative: If you eat a piece of celery, your body actually uses more energy then it’s receiving from the celery to process it. That’s a type of negative GI food. By juicing celery, it’s shredded into tiny bits and it doesn’t take much energy for your body to process it so it becomes a slightly positive gi food.

It all comes down to each individual fruit or veggie. The important thing is to be getting veggies and fruits (as long as your diet allows it) into your body…When juicing just make sure your are drinking down that pulp, it’s contains lots of fiber and nutrients…

so are you saying take the pulp portion out the other end and mix that in with the juice?

    I love my juicer!

Fresh spinach leaves, Cilantro and carrots is a good one

    Pears and Apples

    Beets and Parsely-Blood Purifier

Cucumbers with Lemon Juice squeezed in

Any fruit combo is good with protein powder. Not so good in Veggie Combos though.

www.whfoods.com is a good site to get an idea about nutrition content and different combos.

www.wrc.net has some good cleansing fasts
