Thread: protein question...

i weigh 180 lbs. and i eat 180 g. of protein a day. this is the minimum amount i thought i needed. now, i just read somewere that i need a minimum of 250 g. at my body weight. someone help with this, i would really appreciate it. thanx.

Protein should be 1.5 to 2 times your body weight. so if you weight 180 your protein intake should be that times 2. Answer your ???

Everyone is different but Sicilian30's recommendation is the rule of thumb. In this case more is most definitely better.
A good way to tell if are getting enough is whether you are getting bigger or not, LOL!!!
