    night time snack

    Anyone know a good snack to have, lets say around 9pm if im going to bed at 11, cuz im finding that when i go to sleep im starving and have to get out of bed and grab some food.
    and im cutting.
    so a good snack while cutting before bed is the questions.

    why wouldn't you eat a meal? When is your last meal of the day? I always, and I would assume almost everyone on this board, eats a meal fairly close to the time that they go to bed.

    when cutting i do a whey shake with flax, when bulking i do a cup of cottage cheese and some egg whites.

    I have my PPWO at 9pm and my last meal at 11:15-11:30pm in which i have been eating No Fat cottage cheese and a tbsp of natty PB.

    Has worked well for me..just mixing it up as i was doing as bigsd67 and having a shake w/ Flax.

    yea well im having my shake with flaxx around 9ish, then when i go to bed around 11 im finding myselef hungry.

    Why don't you have another shake at 11? Maybe you don't want to increase your calories. Can you move the 9pm shake to 10 or so. Then you won't be as hungry at 11. Or have the 9pm shake and go to bed at 10.

    Go with either pro/fat before bed or some sort of slow-digesting protein (casein/cottage cheese).
