Diet slipping
My bulking diet has been slipping and I've found myself eating things like chips, cookies, and other unhealthy foods. I think the majority of the 5 pounds I have gained over the last few months has been due to that. Now here is my question. My diet is back in tact, but can I work those pounds I've added into muscle?

Fat doesn't just turn into muscle. Fat is adipose tissue and muscle is proteins. You need to burn the fatty tissue and/or grow muscle tissue, but you can't change fat into muscle.

5lbs. from junk food in a few months is not bad at all.
I've gained 12 in less than 3 weeks from eating whatever I wish.

I have found that a cheat day or meal helps keep me stay focused the majority of the time. Plus, I don't feel bad when I chow down that burger/pizza/dessert as it is planned for. As for converting fat into muscle - not possible. Do a little extra cardio and eat clean to drop the fat and add that lean mass.
