    cutting questions

i am going to follow a cutting diet based on the sticky. should i have carbs in the morning after my everyday cardio session. Or should i just have them around my workout that is later in the day. I have heard mixed opnions on this. what do you think is best after cardio on empty stomach p/c or p/f. i read somewhere that if you do not have carbs you will become catabolic. thanks

I would say you want your p/c after you workout whether it is cardio/lifting. I have my carbs in morning/late afternoon pwo meal/dinner.

i run in the mornings and i like to have some oatmeal and protein after!
i prefer the carb/pro meal, but its ok to have a pro/fat meal
(find the carb/pro meal more filling!)

Pro/Fat for me personally and have seen better results this way.

Of course it is up to you, you gotta find what works best for you, if pro/carb i would use 100% rolled oats and not the fancy flavored kiddie packets.

    p/f

i was under the assumption you wanted to continue lipolysis, hence the morning cardio...so why blunt it with a p/carb meal. i use a p/f meal on my cardio days and don't have my first carbs until later in the day.

One thing you have to remember is that just because you eat carbs does not mean that is what is used for energy, those carbs need to be digested, broken down and then they are stored for energy - your energy stores are what is used, not what you have just eatin.

    okay, would this be ideal;
    empty stomach cardio
    meal 1, p/f
    meal 2/ p/f
    meal 3,p/f
    workout
    meal 4,whey/sweet tarts
    meal 5,lean protein/low gi carbs
    meal six, p/f
green veggies in meals that have protein and fat when desired
