    arborio italian rice vs. plain rice(white rice)

    well.... don't know if this has been posted....

    I've been eating the arborio for yrs and noticed something... 1/2 cup of this rice has 36 carbs..... while plain rice has that much for only 1/4 cup!!! now am i going crazy? how could this be? I read the facts several times...

    arborio dry 1/2 cup 36 carbs

    plain rice dry 1/4 cup 36 carbs

    well as long as this is legit, something you guys might want to try, it tastes way better too

    that is for the plain rice i take? i have both packages here... unless i'm reading something wrong....lol

    Nah that was for the arborio white rice....... I'll keep looking and see if I can find the facts somewhere else. None of the main nutrition data sources have it listed on their site.

    weird...... i just checked it again.... its 1/2 cup dry arborio and 1/4 cup dry of plain, same carbs.... guess its a misprint?
