I know that its good to take a 2:1 ratio of simple carbs to Protien. I'm new to the use of dextrose thouth. I live quite a way from the gym(20 min.) So i bought a niffty little protien shaker. now is it ideal to but both scoops of protien and dex in the same shake. this brand of dextrose is called "creatine express by scitec nutrition" it has 75 grams of dex and 10 of creatin in 2 scoops. Does this even sound like a good brand? :yellowcon
To answer your first question, yes, drink them in the same shake.
As for your brand of dextrose and creatine, I've never heard of it but my guess is you're probably paying more than if you bought the two seperately. And you'll probably be more sure of the ingredients.
strait dextrose is super cheap about $1 a pound, you can get it from a beer and wine making supply
Dailry Farms have Dext. on hand all the time too.

i was reading one of the cutting reads (not sticky but similar) and it said to take dex/simple sugar immediately after workout and then 10 mins later take protein. Any reason for that?

thanks for clearing things up bro. I wasn't referring to the sticky but i was referring to something SIMILAR to the sticky.
Mix them together and enjoy the greatness that is PWO nutrition.
