quick question for a fat man

My dad is about 15lbs over weight. He doesn't lift weights or do cardio b/c his job allows for absolutely no free time. He used to eat a bunch of fast food ...but now he wants to lose weight. As of recent, he only eats salad.

    Now for my question:

How do i approach this? I want to help him but i have never tried to figure out a diet for someone that doesn't workout.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, the sticky will greatly help, of course the amounts will vary as everyone is different. I would start him out on some pro/fat meals w/ EFA's...pro/carb in the morning.

Just watch the kCals as he is not active. This would be my first thought but then again i am dumb as ****.

thanks. I'll just somewhat use the sticky and obviously modify some things since he isn't active. He does A s*** load of walking everyday so he is burning some cals but nothing like keeping your heart rate up for an extended period....thanks
