I have a PWO shake but I am curious to know what I can eat before bed (go to sleep around 10:30/11:00) I am trying to drop BF But don't want to lose muscle, is a tbsp of natty PB and 1 cup skim milk enough?? Appreciate any info you guys can provide!!Thanks

No, why would you have milk (sugar) and fat???

Have a second solid pwo offering as you would at any other time of day. If you've done activity that demands you eat PWO nutrition, you need to do it, no matter what time of day.

You want a clean carb and protein. Greens are veggies (mostly fiber) and you can have those too, but you want starches to continue to replinish lost muscle glycogen, and protein for the aminos that will build your lean mass.

Milk sucks for bodybuilding purposes if one cares the least bit about a clean/crisp look and avoiding sugars when not needed. Everyone focuses on protein in milk (which ain't great to begin with) but what many don't realize is that 1 cup yields 13 grams of carbs, ALL of which are pure sugar. The guy who said you should combine that with peanut butter (fat) is probably not too familiar w/nutrition.

If you're bulking, it's fine.... I wouldn't eat cottage cheese if you were cutting for a show though...

Curious, if you have studies already explaining the "negative effects" of milk as you asked if I had, why do you need me to post one?

I don't have "one" I used for any information.

My information is stored in the CPU atop my shoulders. I most certainly don't have time to go diggin up articles.

It's archived information that I consider "common knowledge" within the field I work in, so I'd encourage you to either refer to the studies you already have, or utilize a comprehensive Internet search for the desired information.

    Good luck!
