help me make my PWO shake
is there some kind of standard for how much dextrose a person should use based on weight? say for someone who hasnt been bodybuilding very long.. 80g of dextrose would be too much right? i dont wanna get fat off improper PWO shake.. heres my stats maybe this will help. 215lb 5'11 29% bodyfat

2:1 ratio....Modify that to suit your individual needs. How much protein do you require in your diet? If you have your kcals in check this should not be a problem.

I am 185 pounds at 14% bf and I use the 80g carb / 40g pro. Btw - 1 year ago I was over 34% bf. What made the biggest changes for me eating 5 to 8 times per day, consistent cardio of 45 mins to 1 hour 4 to 5 times a week. Diet and cardio are the holly grail to bf% loss. DO NOT SKIP MEALS. It will actual extend the time it takes. Work on building up lean mass - and use the smaller more frequent meals to speed up you metabolism and burn off that fat!

Depending on your kcals for the day, you'll calculate the total # of cals for the shake, then make one-third from pro and two-thirds from carbs.

hate to bring this up again but .. i heard some on here saying that 1/2 cup of dextrose is 75g of carbs... but when i measure it on fitday.com its telling me its 100g?

My whey scoop says its 35-40g. I took two scoops of dextrose with that and it comes out to 1/2 cup.

my bad... 1/2 cup is 75g.. swolecat said that i should have just believed it
