    Diet Fine tuning......

I am eating about 305 gms p 145 gm carbs and 100gms of fat as of right now.

I know the fat is a little high, but I have hardly any carbs if you take out the pwo and ppwo about onlt 20gms. I am thinking about cutting the fat about in half.

From your guys experience, is that still enough calories?

I am 227lbs and about 18-19% BF right now.

Is there some calculator that convert protein, fat and carb totals to calories.

I want to cut as much as possible but dont want to lose muscle and hurt my performance in the gym.

I do not know if that is enough calories?

You did not post your meals etc.. how many kcals are you consuming?

The fat does seem a litle high but again i am guessing, i would have a better idea by looking at your dietary approach.

    1- shake with flax (2 scoops 2 tblsp) 50p 6c 20f
    2- tuna w/ mayo 2 tbsp 42 0 20
    3- chicken/salmon/steak w a salad 42 10 20f
    4- shake flax 50 6 20
    3- Cottage cheese with PB 35 3 16
    pwo 50 100 3
    ppwo- chicken/steak/fish w brown rice or yam 42 25 5

On nights I dont lift I take out the pwo of course, and add another meal on before bedtime.

It all adds up to about 305 145 and 100 (PCF)

Im thinking of cutting my fat offerings at each pro/fat meal in 1/2.

    I appreciate your help.

LOOKS GOOD BUT 2 TBSP EQUALS 28G FAT ACCORDING TO MY FLAX, I WOULD MAKE THAT ONE TBSP.

    2- tuna w/ mayo 2 tbsp 42 0 20
WHERE ARE YOUR FATS? YOU NEED TO IMPLEMENT AN EFA IN THIS MEAL AS WELL!

    3- chicken/salmon/steak w a salad 42 10 20f
OK, AGAIN MAKE SURE YOU GET SOME FATS IN THERE BE IT FROM THE CHEESE, BACON WHATEVER ON THE SALAD.

    4- shake flax 50 6 20
    OK!

    3- Cottage cheese with PB 35 3 16
I WOULD TRY TO MAKE THIS TUNA/CHICKEN AS COTTAGE CHEESE IS BETTER TO HAVE AT NIGHT IMO.

    pwo 50 100 3
    SPOT ON!

    ppwo- chicken/steak/fish w brown rice or yam 42 25 5
    EXCELLENT!

Adjust it some and you should be fine, i would drop your flax intake down to 1 tbsp personally. Also make sure you have Non-Fat Cottage Cheese, i also have this and 1-2 tbsp of natty PB before bed and it has worked well for me.

Its all about what works best for you and sometime you gotta do what you gotta do to get it done.

    Good Luck!

Yeah I think Im going to reduce the flax and the mayo in 1/2.
Not that the diet isn't going great, I just want to get every oz out of my efforts.

Exactly, when i felt i was not doing as well as i should, i cut the mayo back and some fats here and there and i am like on a roller coaster now it seems. Results are amazing and the sky is the limit.

Its all about tweaking and keeping the body guessing.

    Keep it up bro...
