    fitday.com

Does anyone track their kcals using this website?

I am plugging my stuff into it and some of the foods i have to guess but here is what i have gotten so far:

    So far i have:

    5:50 Cardio (around 52-55 minutes)

    7:45 Shake w/flax

    10:15 tuna w/ mayo

12:45 chicken, green beans w/ 2 tbsp of natty pb

And fitday states i have consumed:

    Cal Fat Carbs Protein
    1051 58 8 116

The fat is high due to me not knowing what exactly my chicken contains so i picked a chicken option off the sites food list (this is nowhere near accurate as far as fat goes on my chicken.

It says the chicken on there is

    Cal Fat Carbs Protein
    246 14 0 29

Fat seems a bit high? I have been buying the roasted chicken and i pick off a proportion of it everyday...

Just wondering if anybody else is using this site and might have some input, i am going to get precise with my dietary numbers as i am almost at my goal (205lbs currently 220lbs).

    Thanks in advance bros...

I am thinking it might help me tweak a few things as time goes by, so far i have done excellent doing this just off the top of my head (literally) but like i said i am getting close and nothing will stop me!

What do you think the real numbers for a 8oz chicken breast would be as far as fat goes, i am thinking it cannot be anywhere near 14g, of course mine is skinless as well.

Most boneless skinless chicken breasts have maybe 1-2g of fat...... at the most. I hate when the labels on these internet sites claim more.

maybe the site has the 8oz of chicken breast in their database as having skin on it? This could be where they are getting so much fat from.....just a thought.

Actually best to figure 6-7 g of fat for a Large Chicken breast skinless.

    Fitday.com is a great tool!

you can go an customize the foods by using the label on the package. not everything is exactly correct and brands differ.. but that site gave me a good idea of how much i need to eat
