Ok, im 18 years old natural 6'0 and currently weigh 195lbs at around 15% bf. Ive been working on a cutting diet but all i've ever done is bulk so im a little confused about putting together a cutting diet. This is what i've come up with so far.
Cutting Diet
5 Grams Glutamine
Cardio 45 Minutes to 1 Hour
Wait for 45-60 minutes after cardio before meal 1.
Meal 1: Pro/Fat
2 Scoops Whey 46g Pro 184 Cal
50 Grams Nuts 20g Fat 180 Cal
(Are all nuts a good source of fats or should I specifically use almonds ?)
Meal 2: Pro/Fat
200 Grams Chicken or Beef 43g Pro 172 Cal
2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter 15g Fat 135 Cal
(I have some peanut butter but im not sure what the difference is between natural peanut butter and others. The ingredients contained in what I have are: “Roasted peanuts (94%), Palm Oil, Sugar, Salt”)
Meal 3: Pro/Fat
200 Grams Chicken or Beef 43g Pro 172 Cal
50 Grams Nuts 20g Fat 180 Cal
(Could 20g of fat be too much ?)
Meal 4: Pro/Fat
2 Scoops Whey 46g Pro 184 Cal
+
1 Desert Spoon Udo Oil 9g Fat 81 Cal
Meal 5: Pro/Carb
1 Cup Brown Rice 75g Carb 300 Cal
200 grams Chicken or Beef 46g Pro 184 Cal
WORKOUT:
60-90 Minutes
PWO: Nlarge 2 52g Pro / 87 Carb 556 Cal (:s too much ???)
(This is what im using at the moment Im assuming pro/dextrose is better with 2:1 ratio. Are there any other names for dextrose I haven’t seen it around in the UK)
PPWO:
1 Cup Brown Rice 75g Carb 300 Cal
200 Grams Chicken or Beef 43g Pro 172 Cal
Meal 6: Pro/Fat
2 Scoops Whey 46g Pro 184 Cal
+
Udo Oil 9g Fat 81 Cal
Totals:
Pro: 365 1460 Cal
Carb: 237 948 Cal
Fat: 73 657 Cal
3065 Cal
Ok, so this comes to 3065 calories way too much for cutting. Could I have some advice on which meals would be good to cut calories. I was thinking maybe make meal 5 a pro/fat since theres 300 calories just from carbs in there right now. Would I have enough energy to workout ? I also thought I should add some broccoli in there somewhere maybe have a whole egg or 2 at breakfast instead of the nuts.
Any constructive criticism would be much appreciated. Sorry for the huge list of questions in there. I hope the diet isn’t so bad its too much work for anyone to improve it.
