    Meal before bed while cutting?

Ive been currently having a protein shake with flax oil before bed while on my cutting diet, i was just wondering why this is important? My assumption is that it keeps the fat burning while you sleep?

It's more of a way to preserve muscle, giving your body a protein supply prior to bed, and the flax slows down the digestion of protein.

No... but the flax oil is beneficial because your body will not get rid of fat without some fat intake.

I'd keep it for the anti-catabolic properties, you want to hold onto as much muscle as you can, as it burns more calories than fat and ultimately makes you leaner.
