    Waking up for protein shake?

I was told by a couple friends that they set their alarm for 3-4 in the morning to get up and throw down a protein shake. Is there any benefit to doing that? Thank you.

If they are sleeping for 10-12 hours yes its a good idea. But if your sleeping the average 6-8 hours you'll be fine if you down a protein and flax shake before bed.

Its a good idea if you wake up for the bathroom and down the shake, but if not if you interrupt your sleep just because of the shake, non interrupted sleep is veeeeery importmant - more important than an adittional serving of protein

I cannot sleep through the night so when I do get up I keep a Protein Drink in the fridge and hit it before I go back to sleep. But, I would NOT ruin my sleep to get a shake in.......

You cant count the time after cardio, you'll be burning fat like a mofo until you eat.
