Carbs on off days
I dont want to go zero carbs on my off days.. But i want to use off days to really bump up the cardio from 45 min to a little over an hour and then eat 30-45 minutes later.
question is when should i have my carb meal on this day. 1st meal or what?
i was thinkin this
Meal 1 Pro/Fat so i could keep burning fat throughout the day
Meal 2 Pro/Fat
meal 3 Pro/ carb about 3:30 pm(oats)
Meal 4 Pro/fat about 3 hours later
Meal 5 pro/fat
meal 6 pro/fat

IMO cutting carbs so low is not neccessary unless you are doing a contest prep. I would keep the same amount of carbs as training days, minus the big carb hit you get in the PWO shake. Looking at your meal plan I would keep the P/F meal as meal 1 but have P/C for at least meal 2 and 3, probably 4 too. 5 and 6 can be kept P/F as they are later in the day during inactivity.

do you find that having your first carb meal in your 2nd meal helps to burn more fat??? it makes alot of sense to me but why dont many people do it???

I have never seen much difference between P/F or waiting 30-45 minutes and having P/C. When cardio is done in the AM fasted, afterward I am starving and P/F just doesn't cut it for me It takes me 45 minutes or so to get home, shower and prepare breakfast anyway and it is P/C.
getgib888 - are you on a serious cut ATM?
