buying chicken
i was eating at a resteraunt and asked what they pay for chicken breasts.
the bartender says 60 cents a piece ..she says i can get u a bag of 20 for 12 bucks,nice score eh....today at shaws diamond tuna is 25cents a can!... best of all one more day of work!!!!!!!

what does everyone pay at costco,bj etc?

At 25 cents a can, I assume that's not Albacore. Albacore is all I can eat or I will heave. Currently Safeway has "Starkist" solid white Albacore for $1.00 a can, this is the cheapest I ever see it. Safeway also has a sale about once a month on chicken breast at about $1.00 a piece - I stock up then.

I get mine at SAMS (walmart's wholesale club) for $1.00 each.

3lbs of tuna = 4.48 at sams (not solid white, but good enuf for protein in my eyes)

I think it's 6lbs for $12 at sams for chicken breasts. Not sure if its 20 pieces, Will have to count when I open the next one up.

yea the one i get from SAM's is Tyson chicken breasts, and they come 14 in a bag for $12.

I buy my chicken in bulk at Albertson's. I get 20lbs. at a time, and the guy there gives it to me for $1.39 a pound.... such a steal. Also, it's fresh chicken, and hasn't been frozen like the flat little pieces of chicken in the big bags at Sams.
