    40/40/20 or 55/25/20 ?

Torn between which diet to use.

    6'0 - 185 - 13% BF

Currently on my first cycle of Test E @ 325mg/week for 12 weeks, last 6 weeks Winstrol @ 50mg ED.

I am looking to gain slow lean muscle mass

Seems that a lot of nutritionists try to say that even 1g of protein per pound is way to much and that carb intake should be where our food comes from.

Currently eating 3500 cals a day

    40/40/20 = 350g protein, 350g carbs, 78g fat
    55/25/20 = 214g protein, 481g carbs, 78g fat

    Meal 1: cookies and milk

    Meal 2: chips

etc. (obviously with real meal choices)

This will enable us to better help you...

Its different everyday. I throw my meals into a counter after each meal, then assess what I need for a next meal.

I can tell you that my breakfast is always oatmeal with 1 cup of nonfat milk and either a banana or orange.

    Cardio and workout after breakfast

PWO is an N-large Shake that is about 600 calories and usually a can of tuna or other source of protein

Lunch always consists of a Chicken breast and or a little under a pound of steak. I tend to always throw this over some lettuce and use a small amount of nonfat ceasar dressing. Often I chop of various veggies to go along with the salad.

Another lunch option I use is to mix tuna and pasta together.

About an hour after I eat a can of tuna with some hot sauce
Either with the tuna, or shortly after I will have 1/2 of the N-Large shakes at about 300 calories

Asses calorie intake at this point and make sure I am close to the 3000 mark, eat a can of tuna if needed.

Dinner is usually a steak and/or Chicken breast with some veggies.

I know its probably not a good idea to not have a set diet, but I just cant bring myself to do it. I like to mix things up. One thing I am religious about is making sure that I assess my intake after each meal...throw it into Crosstrainer or Fitday to see where I am at for the day. None of my meals are junk....honestly the only thing in my kitchen is steak, chicken, pasta, tuna, wheat bread, milk, juice, and veggies. I never eat fast food and rarely have cheat days.

For example of how my 'assessing' goes, I was a little short of where I wanted to be around lunch time yesterday, so I picked up a can of bush's baked beans while I was out - ended up being: 560cals 4fat 112carb 21protein

I use the assesing method above rather than planning each and every meal out.
