    6 week post surgery diet

just had hernia operation on friday, can't train for 6 weeks....was thinking of 3 met-rx shakes and 3 other lean meat meals a day ( grilled chicken, egg whites, turkey, tuna)with a vegetable for the 6 weeks. Shooting for 1500 cals day. Does Anyone see a probem in doing this?

Unless you weigh 140 pounds you're going to shrink eating 1500 calories a day and not lifting.

^^Yes. You're going to need to eat alot more. I would eat some oats in the A.M. myself, I love the energy I get from it... as long as you keep total carbs at a moderate level throughout the day....
