Maltodextrin for PWO?

Was looking for just some cheap dextrose but they didnt have any. The only thing they had was a 5lb bucket of Maltodextrin. Is this a good source of PWO carb intake?

Whats a good source of dextrose besides pure dextrose you'd find at a store? Anything?

I think Smarties candy are dextrose... but you'd have to eat a $hitload and its probably bad on your teeth to chew it up... better just to have it mixed and swallow it quick.
