    Tuna w/ flax and SPLENDA!

I just mixed some splenda with my tuna and flax oil. It actually wasn't bad, the splenda definatly took away from the tuna taste. Anyone else try this?

splenda makes EVERYTHING good!! haven't tried the tuna and splenda yet but i will. I usually put tuna, pepper, real mayo, and olive oil in mine with pickles.

taiboxa, I know maltodextrose is a sweetener but how is it bad? Just curious bc i don't know that much about it....or is there just such a small amount in it or small serving size that they just say "0"?

    Yeah .. ><
Aspartame is awsome !! people are like its bad for you and what not.. its affects on blood sugar are 1/200'th of sucrose and aspartame is a precursor for L-Tyrosine which is an Uber amino acid for muscle growth and repair !!! >< so anyone that says aspartame is bad and turns to formaldahyde kan f'n burn in hell because a tomatoe has more aspartame than i believe 4 or 6 servings of Diet Cola!

no it does not. It has sucralose in it.

...The FDA has approved the use of sucralose by everyone, including people with diabetes. Although made from sugar, sucralose is not recognized by the body as a carbohydrate. Therefore, it is not broken down for energy and provides no calories. Studies in humans with and without diabetes have shown no effect of sucralose on insulin levels, fasting or postprandial blood glucose levels, or long-term blood glucose control (hemoglobin A1c).

it's a miniscule amount that should not even be an issue. When cutting a use it relgiously to flavor my lemon water. I drink the stuff all day with no effects on cutting.

the maltodex and dex that are in the splenda packets are also in every aspartame packet as well. you will never be able to get the purest form of either chemical in powdered form. i got liquid sucralose from sweetsfree.com. also as a side note. i consumed a good amount of splenda while dieting for a contest without any harm to my physique, so the amount of maltodex and dex in the packets is very very miniscule.

I tried splenda in tuna, not bad.

Ever try hot peppers? That's what I use now. All you taste is hot. I'm gonna start using them in all my bland meals.

LMAO.. If it comes down to adding splenda to tuna, you might as well come to means with your self and find something else to eat.
