    This a good PWO meal?

    40g Whey mixed with 80g Maltadextrin & blended with ice.

    Should I be eating more along with this shake?

    You want a fast-acting protiend directly after your workout, so you should incorporate the whey there. Try something like tuna or chicken along w/ the rice for PWO.

    is 60+ grams of protein too much to consume for PWO?

    60 grams may be too much for any meal of the day. Your body can only absorb around 40 g's at one sitting.

    So wouldnt chicken & rice be a bad idea? Whey/Malto is much faster absorbing, no?

    I think we have a misunderstanding here.

    Take the whey/malto right after you workout. Then about an hour after that eat the lean protien/rice meal.

    not true for everyone, people are different so dont rule it out....

    Maltodextrin doesn't produce as quick of an insulin spike as dextrose. I would shoot for 80g dex/40g whey.

    Use dextrose in a 80/40 like Adam said if u dont have dextrose use Sucrose(white storebot sugar) if u dont have that then resort to maltodextrose but malto is a complex carb not as effective as the previously stated.. then weight about 30min or so to eat your PPWO because whey protein isolate has about a 30min absorbtion rate ppwo meal shundt exceed 40pro IMO.
