Suppose if I think about it I could probably add a few 100 extra calories to my diet if i mixed oatmeal with my shakes. Any1 know how it tastes?

500ml chocolate milk, 1 cup oats and 50g protein powder. Put all in a blender on liquefy, and drink.

I was just thinking to cook the oatmeal like normal on the stove. Pour it in a bowl, add protein powder, mix and eat. I'll try it tomorrow morning and let you all know what I think.

But the microwave idea sounds like less pots to clean when I get home from work.

Are you talking raw oats or cooked? This sounds like a better option over maltodextrin for a quick pro/carb meal.

Tried mixing 3/4 cup oatmeal with 3 scoops chocolate solid whey, not so good. I'm not trying that again. Maybe 2 scoops would've worked better. Anyway, I'll stick with splenda in my oats.

1 cup of oats, 1-3/4 cups water ( milk puts it on my waist to easily ) and 1 scoop of protien powder mixed after it is cooked, it helps with the taste, not to mention more protien!!!!

Make sure you get a huge straw.... otherwise you have this big nastly blob of oats at the end....

milk, whey and 1 1/2 cups of oats every morning
