    Exclamation Frozen

I know the importance of frequent eating to have continous muscle gains. My question is, how do you guys defrost your steaks and chicken breasts? Just put them in the microwave? Or throw em on the george foreman grill frozen?

I like to leave it in a bowl of seasonings/marinades all day and then grill it up. Obviously I am selective when choosing marinades.

No, because I never let it get to that point. If it begins to turn white on the edges, it's been in there too long.

I buy my chicken fresh every 2or so days. For steak I buy london broil and cut it up into 6-7oz steaks and freeze them. I put one in the fridge the night before so it is thawed by dinner. I spend about 100 bucks per week oon meat alone

Oh ok, I end up taking it out when its part white. I guess when it starts to get white, it still may be partially frozen but that will go away on the grill right? Have you or anyone else tried the Garret Downing orange marinade recipe?

a good way to quick thaw is to let water run on it in a bowl or pan for a 30 minutes or so.

You can also transfer the meat from the freezer to the fridge the night before. Usually, the amount of time (night and all next day) is enough for the meat to defrost and it's still cold rather than being room temp when you get home from work.
