first off... the comparison saying milk is like a soft drink with protein is incorrect as the sugars in soft drinks are a lot higher on the gi index (about 75)... lactose is 27 on the gi index... this is a big difference... and there is 40 some grams of sugar in soda and much less in milk (13 g)... milk also is loaded with calcium, vit. d, b vitamins, and some others... its a great source of micro and macro nutrients...

secondly... arnold said "milk is for babies" for the same reason he said a lot of other things... he said it so that people would follow his bad advice... this way people wouldn't be as good as he was...

arnold said milk is for babies, that's all that needs to be said. put your **** protein powder in water, plan your diet so you don't have to rely on milk and call it a day!

if we were supposed to drink milk, then why are the cows titties way down close to the ground? kinda hard to get down there to suck it out.

There is no "correct" or "incorrect" answer here, it was merely a comparison.
As well, humans are the ONLY species to drink the milk of another species. Yes, the ONLY one.

well we also purify most of our water, which takes a large source of calcuim out of the diet... milk is a very nutritious substance, full of vitamins and minerals, good source of protein and low gi carbs... it is also a much healthier choice than a lot of drinks and foods out there that are much better tasting... it isn't "bad" and to imply such a thing is obsurd... and it seems as though you are saying that milk is "bad" for a good look... i think?
and yes, a comparison can be incorrect... if i compared your body to my little sister's then that would be a poor comparison because there is no resemblance...

I think its safe to say Swole does know what he is talking about when it comes to diet and nutrition. His track record speaks for itself. I am not on his Di*k but he deserves respect.
Yes, everyone is entitled to his/her opinions on this forum but u got to be kidding all this over MILK.....lmao

i'm not saying that he doesnt know his stuff... i just think that saying milk is a poor beverage choice (if you are drinking 2-4 glasses a day) is not that great of advice... sure, maybe milk isnt the best for everyone, but it does have a lot of nutritional value on multiple fronts (micro nutrients, protein low gi carbs)...

umm... what??? i never said it was the wisest choice... but it definately isnt a poor choice... you are assuming that i mean it is THE BEST CHOICE for cutting and building... i never said that, i said it isn't a bad choice... there is a big difference...
and that comparison is very poor... the fats in hamburger are saturated and it has high cholesterol... it also is generally put on a potato bun, or a white bun with a higher gi index for the carbohydrates... however, if you eat very lean burger meat (3 g fat per serving) and put it on a wheat bun, with tomato, lettus and healthy toppings it actually isnt bad for you... please give better response if you are going to criticize my points of view... at least make a valid point that relates to what i said...Last edited by EatRite; 03-17-2005 at 06:04 PM.

I'm not even going to read all through the rest of the posts, I've a headache and it's late.
Very busy busy rough busy rough day.
To each their own in every aspect of life and decision making, and that is inclusive of the dietary world.
I'm out.
