If I want a beef, I just go in my back yard, pick out a cow, and say "see ya buddy." Got 40 to choose from. That and hunting are about the only good things about Iowa.

You betcha... I lived on a couple farms when I was younger; we had beef, pork, and dairy....... always hold farmers in the highest respect....

Because of school, I haven't had the chance to hunt for the past 2 seasons, but I'm lucky enough to get to go this coming fall.... free meat is good....

That's an awsome deal!!! Has it been tested for Mad cow?

I got a deal on eBay that I think is staill available. 99 cents for a CASE (180 bars) of Atkins bars. 21 grams of protien, 2 grams of effective carb. Might make a good dessert for you.

Mad Cow is the biggest clusterfukk I've ever seen........

No, they haven't been tested, and no, they don't have it.... my relatives raise beef, and I laugh at all the Mad Cow hoopla of the past few years....(nothing personal to you btw... )
Thanks to people's over analysis and exaggeration, our beef farming industry up here has suffered drastically, putting my family in an economical downswing.... and I've grown pretty tired of it lol..

Oh, and thanks for the tip on the bars, I just dislike bars..... ....

Maybe someone else can use the tip on the bars.

As for the Mad Cow thing, I will have to monitor your future posts to try to determine whether you have contracted it through your untested beef. Deseased or not, I think you gat a great bargain!.

Did you know that there was only one reported incidence of Mad Cow disease in Canada? There was also a 90% chance that the cow was purchased in the US as a calf, and brought to Canada later...... Just an FYI for ya....
