Yams at 9:30pm for after PWO shake?

I cannot lift until about 7:00 every night... So i have my PWO shake
protein 40g/dex 80g at around 8:15 or so... then around 9:30 i want to have my PPWO meal...I know you should have some complex carbs after you lift.
Is it ok to have like chicken with Yams or brown rice this late?

I then usually have some micellar casein with flax at around 11pm before i hit the sack.

I do the same thing..unless you're really trying to cut I wouldn't worry about it. If I don't get some complex carbs, I will be lying in bed hungry.

Yes its a must to have carbs for your PPWO meal! The amount you have is up to you. If you notice your packing on a few lbs of fat cut back a bit on the carbs but I wouldnt cut them out completely....EVER.

As far as that shake of MC and Flax goes. Defineitley move it back more take it at 12:00 or later. Not enough time in between your carb and fat consumption. When gaining muscle I always make a shake and drink it during the middle of the night. Never failed me yet.

    Good Luck

I'd skip the shake after the two pwo large meals.

That's enough before bed and recovery.

So the PWO shake with dex and then the PWO meal with yams is enough after working out?
Could drinking a shake be too much?
