Ok this is lil tricky but i have read somewhere -wish i still had them-articles/studies on pwo insulin spike and this is how it goes
immediatly fallowing workout consume ~75g(mass dependant) dextrose and 10g' of free/essential aminos then wait 15-20min to allow for maximum spike in insulin then your suppose to consume your appropriate amount of whey protein. like 40g. something about the timing is suppose to optimize protein synthesis. along the lines of "the insulin is already present" when the protein is consumed and it is a more effective spike when taken in that ratio/timing. just need comments, seems logical to me but hell what do i know.. im just a fat kid.
