Protein Max?
Read somewhere else on this thread, titled "Egg Whites" that a maximum of 50 grams of protein can be digested effectively at once, is this true? I realize it's ideal to consume several meals splitting the protein intake for your overall daily requirements/goals. If this is true, wouldn't the maximum amount depend on the individual, how can you compare someone who is 175 lbs and someone who is 300 lbs, obviously different quantities of protein needed to maintain weight. Any takers? :bath:

You're right, different people with different amounts of LBM will require more or less protein. It's all about trial and error to see what works for you.

i'm 320 lbs and my average meal is about 100 grams of protien.

I would rather waste protein than not get enough in, in one serving

SO many variables are involved:
lean body mass
insullin resistence
test levels
on and on and on...

While my question doesn't pertain exactly to the first question, it does pertain to the title of this thread...a little. I've heard that too much protein can cause kidney problems. What do you guys think about that?

If you drink enough water you should be fine...
