Hmmm I'm not quite sure what an "oatmeal drink" is per se, but you could try putting oatmeal in your PWO shake. I'll do that sometimes for a little extra carbs.

You can...at least if you mix cottage cheese with it. I've got a recipe for some oatmeal and cottage cheese patties if you want it. They're pretty good from what I hear.

I'd like to do this myself since I dont have an appetite in the mornings, I might be able to get in some carbs from oatmeal if I can drink it rather than eat it.

I'd rather eat and enjoy them. Drinking them is a mess and although I can do it, I'd rather just eat 'em!

There was a similar thread like this not long ago I cant find it now but someone suggested measuring out however many oats I wanted and then putting them in a blender to chop them all up really small. I tried it but they all just clumped together couldnt really drink it, might try it again soon though it almost worked.

Okay, you're making things way more complicated then they need to be. Just take some 100% rolled oatmeal and POUR it into your post workout protein shake. It's quick, easy, and is a nice thickener to for your shake.

I'll just post it for everyone. Oh, and I got this from my bud, LAW.

    Cottage Cheese and Oat Patties

    2 cups cottage cheese
    2 cup instant oats
    1 onion chopped

You can season with salt, pepper, garlic, crushed hot pepper,(any spice you like). You can chop cilantro, parcley and grate chedar cheese into them or for spicy patties add jalapeno jack cheese. Just season with what ever flavor you like because the cottage cheese and oats have no flavor really. You can bake on a cookie sheet with a little olive oil then turn over and brown on other side at about 375 degrees.

Ahhh, I see. Well, chuggin' down half chopped up oat slop wouldn't really be indicative of me runnin' to the table either.
