    swing shift dieting

Just about every plug n play diet on this board assumes you work/goto school from like 9am-5pm and lift in the afternnon/early evening. Well I'm kindof a nightowl cause I've always worked a swing shift from 2pm-10pm and I don't plan on changing that schedule anytime soon. Thing is I do my cardio when I wake up(best fatburning time) and lift after work, usually from 1030pm to 1200am. Can any1 help with a diet plan based on this?

This is what I have so far:

    1000hrs wakeup(hopefully)

    1030hrs-1100/1115hrs cardio

    1) 1130hrs pro/carbs meal: 50g pro/?g carbs

    2) 1330hrs pro/fat meal: 50g pro/?g fat

    3) 1600-1700hrs(break time variable) pro/fat meal: 50g pro/?g fat

    4) 2000hrs pro/carb shake: 50g protein/?g carbs (can't eat a solid meal at this time)

    2230hrs-0000hrs weight training

    5) 0030hrs PWO shake: 50g protein/80-100g dextrose

    6) 0100hrs pro/fat meal: 50g protein/?g fat

    0130hrs-1000hrs sleep

Am I doomed to store fat while I sleep because of the close time from PWO carbs and bedtime? Any suggestions?

As long as you keep the basis of the "plug n play" approaches here the same, it doesn't matter when the "events" begin/end, only that you keep the time between all of the happenings about the same. That is, if you are following a plug n play from here. I'd look into having a better PWO approach however, no matter when you lift.

Agreed. My main problem is that I lift at night and conventional PWO dieting calls for:

    #1 PWO shake 40/50gpro + 80/100g dex (2-4hr insulin spike)

#2 soon(~1hr later) followed by a PPWO meal of pro/carbs(complex)

    #3 2.5 hrs later pro/fat meal with flax(before bed)

This would put me sleeping at around 4am(IF I can fall asleep right after the last meal) to avoid the dextrose insulin spike storing the fat from my last meal. 4 fvuckin AM? That sheeit just aint gonna work bro. Any ways around this? Anybody work a similar schedule?
