I think that what you eat or tell yourself your allowed to eat on a diet is totally dependant upon your body type, the way it reacts to certain foods, as well as what gear, if any, your running. I think bread in moderation(wheat or honey oat or something) isnt bad at all for myself. But when I say moderation I'm talking like maybe a slice or two a day tops. I dont see anything wrong with a breakfast that consists of a slice or two of whole wheat toast on top of a bowl of oats here and there. Or a tuna sandwich on wheat bread. But thats just me, I still consume 250-300 grams of carbs a day on an extreme cutting diet. You might not be able to consume this many carbs and still cut, everybody is different. The most important thing overall is how many cals a day you consume and how many you burn off.
