Good question. Does anyone know what the difference is between the oil and the seeds? The seeds are easier to take than the oil when it comes to taste. I went back on forth between the seeds an the oil and now I am back on the oil, but would rather take the seeds.

Both are the same just one is oil and the other seeds. Either is a great source of "good" fat

Seeds have the added benefit of fiber.

So actually flax seeds rather than flax oil in a sense is better because you get the added fiber? So I will get the same amount of efa's from the seeds or the oil?

There is added fiber but the amount of omega's contained is higher in oil than it is in seeds. Meaning, for the amount of fat in 1 tbsp of flax oil you would have to consume 3x that in seeds.

Went to look it up...here goes:
1 tbsp. flaxseed (seeds): 2.34g protein, 4.08g fat, 4.11g carbs, 3.3g fiber
1 tbsp. flaxseed (oil): 0g protein, 13.6g fat, 0g carbs, 0g fiber
I throw flaxseed oil in a shake or mixed with tuna/chicken and the taste isn't bad.

That is quite a big difference. Maybe I'll stick with the oil. Like you said, mix it in a shake and it ain't that bad. Thanks for that info.

yeh i dont know there but here the oil is terribly expensive and the seeds are pretty cheap so i will have to opt for the seeds
