    Fats pre workout

This may be a stupid question, but is there any downside to eating fats like olive oil pre workout? I'm not doing it to improve my workout, it's just a certain meal falls in that time frame. I eat a can of tuna with olive oil as soon as I get home from work, then workout. I eat a small carb meal before I leave work and it takes me about an hour to get home.

i have read that in a preworkout shake EFAs can be added beneficially. Shakes usually include whey protein and a moderately G.I. / I.I. carb source and flax oil.
if consumed around i belive 1hr 15min the efa's can help the body w/ fatty acid transportation thus aiding in energy or something like that i swear i read that somewhere by someone of importance but im heavily medicated because i had to give a presentation over the paralles in the evolution of mitochondria and like symbionts... and i OWNED IT!

Nothing wrong at all with a fat/pro meal before working out.
