I think if you take in more than you body can handle at one time then the rest goes to fat. If bulking I always try to get 2g of pro per 1lbs of lean body mass. If I go over and store some fat no big deal thats why we cut.
No, as long as your calories are in check you shouldent get "fat". How much extra protein are we talking about? 2g's per pound? Or more?

I've heard the excess comes out in your urine.
