Is this a good pre workout meal to have 1 hour before I start to workout?
1 scoop of whey mixed with 12 oz. of water
1/2 cup of oatmeal with water, splenda, and cinnamon
1 small apple
500 ml of water
The reason I included the apple is because I thought it's good to have a complex carb (oats) AND simple carb (apple) pre workout along with a fast acting protein (whey).
Do I need the apple or could I lose it? Is the whey and oats enough to fuel me for a workout?
