    Caffeine and protien

    I read awile back on here something about caffeine diminishing the absorption of protien. Is there any truth to this? I haven't seen anything about it since.

    As I'm sitting here drinking coffee I'm hopeing I don't have to give it up.

    If it does have an affect, must not be much because I've been drinking coffee/diet soda/using ECA's for years on end, and I seem to have a bit of muscle.

    I really hope you're not the guy from my work that mixes up a protien shake with red bull. , I asked him why he does this and he told me it provides him with energy to build muscle , I tell ya, some people.

    yeah, when i'm dieting (cutting), i find that drinking some coffee suppresses my appetite a bit, so i don't go cravin' that evil ****...glad to know it's okay
