No Time! Need Food!
Hey guy's I wake up every morning about 4:30am to hit the gym, I work out until about 6:10 to 6:20 but I go into work about 7. That gives me 20 minutes to get ready for work and another 20 to fix some breakfast up, the only problem is that when I'm done with my shake and jump in the shower I get out and feel a little tired to make my egg whites and stuff, does anyone have a quick recipe of something that would make a good quick breakfast?
Anything thanks...
I work about 10 minutes away..

oats/eggwhites blend em up in water and drink it 50min AFTER shake?
or fix some high gi complex carbs and a lean protein source like turkey or chickn and a tater.

since its ur PPWO it doesnt really matter if its the thin cut starchy instant or the steel cut old fashion.

might add a lil bit of splenda and half a scoop or so of whey for flavor

I'd make whatever pwo lean protein and clean carb (both of a solid variety) the night before. Once you get out of the shower, simply microwave your pwo2, and you are good to go.
It's all about planning. You'll have much success if you just plan.
Never plan to fail.

Yep..... cook up some chicken or something and have a baked potaote or rice already made up... nook it and you're ready to go. I do most of my cooking on Sundays... freeze it all. That way during the week I can just heat it up and am ready to throw it down. Just because it's breakfasttime doesn't mean you have to eat traditional breakfast foods.

I'm not sure how long it takes you to get from your bed to the gym, but if you are working out for nearly 2 hours, you can easily gain an hour to an hour and 15 minutes by not overtraining. That should be plenty of time to cook and eat.

true it roughly only takes me 20 minutes to 45 TOPS to blast a couple body parts ... I spend most of my time outta the gym recovering instead of in it overtraining. (like I did lastnight ... OHH well)

I wake up at 4:30 but it takes me about 20 to wake up and drink my creatine, vitamins and sometimes a pre-workout shake, after that it takes me another 10 min
to get there. So I'm really only hitting it for about 1 hour and 10 to 15 extra minutes, plus I work out with a partner.
Thanks allot for all the info guys it really did light my thinking cap back on...
