What is your goal of this eating approach? You never stated.

However, it's pretty darn bad for ANY goal, so I'd definitely read the IMPORTANT posts atop the page for general assistance.

im not bothered about any fat gain. my body fat is low how ever much i eat. my aim is to eat what my body needs to recover from my strength training. i have a competition coming up soon on the 2nd july. so i want to do things right, i want to win of course. i have read a couple of bulking threads and calories/protein/carb calculators. the amount of each seems o.k. i think its more an issue of eating the right type of foods at the right time of day and cutting out any junk food.

i think my diet is giving me good results is because im still at an early stage of my training, but eventually will not as i progress. some recommendations of supplements and other foods i simply would not be able to afford them for constant use for the amount of time suggested. so cost is also a concern. im still getting use to the amount of food i should be eating, as i used to box and was dieting alot to make the weight division i was in for the fights i entered.

Whats wrong with eating carbs without protein? i read some where that eating separately is acceptable and would enable you to eat more food as eating protein suppresses apettite, also eating carbs seperate from protein would increase metabolism, but im not worried about that. PWO shake, would that just be a mix of dextrose and whey. After the gym a banana and whey is what i generally would have, followed by my large meal. I guess that is little as the body is in a state to absorb more food.

Remember you ASKED for suggestions and that's what you are getting.

What you actually do w/those suggestions is another thing.

yes, i'm listening. read all the diet posts. yes im definetly one to put what i say into practice. I'll post my new diet as soon as i have consumed the stated food intake in a week. it won't be nothing fancy, just as good as my british pounds allows me to purchase. my philosophy has been to train like a beast in the gym, give it your all, but obviously its more than just that. So im spending time on studying the nutritional aspects of the sport. Thanks for info.
