    Catabolic

What and how much do I have to eat to stop going into a catabolic state.

    5'8'' 165 are my stats.

I already eat every 3 hrs. just wodering what I can get away with. My job makes it hard to eat all the time. I'm not looking for an easy way out I'm just trying to learn all I can while I bulk up. Thanks

To gain you eat more than maintenance, to maintain you eat maintenance, etc.

Activity, types of food, etc., also play a role in the issue of catabolism.

Can you elaborate more on the types of food, activities? I do drywall or sheetrock what ever you want to call it. Its alot of fast repetitions that burn off alot of calories all day. I work any where from 10 to 12 hours a day.

The types of food I eat is chicken, tuna, steak, pasta, rice, sweet potatos, and the protein shakes of course.

What I was wondering is what type of foods stop you from going in to a catobolic state? Is this a dumb question? It might be. I was just thinking about it and the only people I could think to ask is AR. But if there is just to many variables then oh well I will live to see another day.
