    quick protein?

Are there any sources of protein out there that don't have to be cooked other than tuna or a shake? I cook other stuff all of the time, but sometimes I am just in a rush and unprepared. Thanks.

Yeah I was trying to stay away from those as the concensus seems to be that they are crap. Anything else?

I make all my food ahead of time.

If I plan ahead, it's always easier to stay on track. W/my lifestyle and being on the go, it's imperative that I always plan.

Fail to plan, plan to fail.

Canned meats in generalread the ingredients..making sure it fits in your diet

other than tuna there's: mackeral, salmon, ham, sardines.

Non-canned stuff: non-fat yogurt (low-carb; plain), cottage cheese, no-carb milk

Fat sources that add protein: Nuts

Deli select: smoked beef and ham

Thanks for the replies. I make my food for the entire day before work, usually chicken / rice / tuna / shake, etc. and bring it with me. I was just wondering for the occasion that something comes up and I have to leave in a rush. The cottage cheese would be a good idea, I'll have to start picking that up again. Thanks.
