Fruits that are safe to eat while cutting
:wg: idk, its what u can afford to eat
grapfruits at proper time
any really sour fruit pretty much... and any apples/pears that are very NOT RIPE (still sour) once again dependent upon timining, activity and previous/past foods to be consumed.
I think water melon might be ok.

IMO if your going to eat any fruit during a cutting phase #1- Dont eat it everyday #2- eat it in the morning if you can, or directly after your training. I was eating a grapefruit with splenda and 2 cans of tuna for a post workout meal for a little while, seemed not to hurt.
nothing but starch and sugar imo BAD :(Quote:

how come you all are saying that fruit is no good during a cutting phase but when people go on a regular diet to lose weight and go to a nutritionist the nutritionist recommends eating fruit. my mom goes on a diet and is told to eat an apple a day and grapfruit pinapple all that and now ur all saying that fruit is no good. i thought fruit and veges were like ur best friend when trying to lose weight??
apples are ok i suppose but to go on a cutting diet and to go on a conventional diet to "loose weight" are 2 DIF things...
first off look at a basic bb'rs food pyrimid.. looks different.. of course :D
fruits contain fructose a 5cyclo-carbon "NOT YOUR FRIEND" sugar...
now as fruits ripen they acquire a greater i guess you could say density of fructose (more sugar) so eating un ripe green sour fruits is best way to go. any fruits that arent sweet... usually ok.. any vege is fine but still wouldnt do some of the odd colored or sweeter ones like carrots and such.
remember SUGAR is not your friend (except dextrose) but then it only has its selective time of usage.. :(
okay that helps alot! thanx tai
Grape fruit is one of those weird one's it is high glycemic but I have read from a couple of diffrent sources that it helps you cut.
grapfruit own ... read up on them .. its a magical fruit.
