Talking What wrong with Whole eggs??????????

I use a mix of all sort proteins in my diet.

I don't see why people throw away the yoke cause whole eggs are very high in bv value???????

I usually use a mix of whey and eggs and soy milk.

This gives me around 40g of protein.

the cholesterol and fat is not a big deal if you take in enough EFA's to balance out your daily lipid profile.

Sometimes I eat up to 9 hard boiled eggs a day to hit fat/pro amounts in certain meals.

    This so bad?

Those who keep barking "cholesterol" evidently don't understand that eggs are not bad for you at all. Your body produces a certain amount of your total cholesterol ITSELF, and that is where people run into issues w/high cholesterol levels. Yes, you read that right, your OWN BODY produces cholesterol.

Im not saying that its the end of the world. Yet I consume 20-30 thirty eggs a day and at that rate. Im pretty sure, a stroke is on its way about the 30th of the month with that much cholesterol running or should I say stoping me.

Your body (your liver to be specfic) produces around 1000mg of cholesterol a day. An egg yolk contains 213mg so if you consume just 5 yolks a day you will more than double your total cholesterol for that day. However, yes cholesterol is very important to your body but to much can lead to greater risk for many diseases. So eating multiple egg yolks everyday, YES is bad for you.

Everyone differs in this dep't, so I'd have to say have regular check-ups to see what you can get away with. I can eat as many as I wish, red meat, etc., and I'm platinum test wise.

    So, NO, it's not a cut/dry answer.

Thanks everyone for the replies, i am taking in 2 wholes eggs a day mixed with my whey protein and soy shake to get around 40g of protein X 2.

So i guess i will not over do it, the rest of my fat comes from flax oil.

You are right swolecat I agree that everyone differs in the amount they produce 1000mg/day is just average. I think eating whole eggs are ok in moderation like you said, but when some guys are eating 8-10 eggs everyday I think that they are just increase there chances for disease later in life. Eggs whites offer all the protein minus the cholesterol and in my opinion there are much healthier fats.
