Thread: protein question

Hi guys i currently weigh about 170lb and i'm just wonderin how much protein do i need a day, is it a gram per llb of body weight or per kilo, as the trainer in out local gym said i only need 160 g a day, is he right he said anymore than that will just turn to fat. Also is it true too much protein can cause irreversibal kidney damage ?

i like and what works for me is 2gPro per lb of lean body mass...
and dependent upon the compounds im on i can even increases this to as much as 2.5g per lb of lean LEAN i say body mass...
anymore than that and i get the Excess pro symptoms, hurt stomach/gut, bad gass etc...

cheers taiboxa i didnt meen to get everyone worried about nova it was just what i read in the note ye get with it.
