need help with,"unofficial how to cut thread" thread

Hello, I just have a few questions in regards to the sticky cutting thread. If I can get some help, that would be great.

Meal 1: lean protein/half bowl oatmeal...can this oatmeal be consumed with any kind of milk or does it have to be water?

Meal 2: protein shake, lean protein, flax...what serving of flax seed oil, is it 1.5 tbsp?

    Meal 3: veggies, lean protein

Meal 4: PWO...do you recommend it to be a protein shake with 1:2 ratio of protein to dextrose or real food consumption?

Meal 5: veggies, lean protein, half cup rice

Meal 6: protein shake, flax oil...again what serving size of flax seed oil?

    Thanks in advance.

In meal one I would say no on the milk due to the sugar content.

1-1.5 tbsp should be ok depending on how big a kid you are lol

PWO, go shakes 2:1 dex to prot.

1.5 tbspns of flax oil is fine with both meals above. I would ditch the milk in meal 1 if you are trying to cut. Like lethal said , it contains sugars which may hinder your cutting....what are your stats?

5'8, 170, 11%. How in the world can you guys stand eating whole oatmeal with water? Is there anything you do to make it taste better?

Yes, Sugar Free Jam. I make it with water, microwave it, then mix in a couple tablespoons of Jam and it tastes GREAT!

Ok, so would you recommend to not cook the 2 meals with olive oil that way I can get my fat from Flax? Maybe cook it with cooking spray that has 0 calories/fats/protein/etc..and then consume the flax?

Sugar free jam, splenda or I even use honey on occasion when my diet allows.

What is Splenda? And as far as honey, I would assume that is a no no on a cutting diet?

Splenda is a sugar substitute that many use instead of regular sugar. They use it in Diet Coke. And notice he said honey only when the diet allows. Just use Splenda, its great!

Ok, thanks for the calrification. Shoot..another question. Hope you guys don't mind.

In the sticky, it says to stay away from too many shakes, yet, in the diet plan posted, one consumes 3 protein shakes and 3 meals. So, is this a contradiction to the post or is 3 meals/3 shakes really ok for a cutting plan?? Thanks

the cutting sticky is an outline, 3 shakes, 3 meals may work for you, and may not.

    more meals the better though.
