Tired of Broccoli and Yams
Im cutting and trying to figure out what other fiberous veggies i can add besides broccoli and asparagus.
Also what else would you use PPWO besides yams, brown & white rice?
Getting ready to go to the grocery store tonight and I want to see what other veggies and carbs you guys use for cutting.
Thanks in advance!

thanks guy....very much appreciated...any other ideas on PPWO carbs. The only way i can bear the yams now is if i spray "i cant believe its not butter" spray on it.
That stuff is good. 0 cal, 0 fat, 0 carb, there is basically nothing in it.

wether cutting or bulking u need pwo nutrition (pwo, ppwo)
pwo should be a dex, whey isolate 2:1 ratio i prefer with vitc 500mg , vit e 400 iu (with no fat or fiber)
ppwo should be a high gi carb rice is good (88 on the gi scale) and chicken (no fat or fiber)
the reason i say this is cuz fat and fiber slow down the gi of a meal and ur insulin starts returning back to normal with the fiber
and when ur cutting u still need it u f, it wont make at itll actually help u cuz you are restorin ur muscle glycogen which will help make u stronger and add muscle which in the long run will burn more calories capiche??
but if the oatmeal is working for u dont change it
peace

so basically - ppwo meals should only consist of yams and rice? there has got to be more complex carbs i can consume....im just trying to mix things up because i get bored quick of the same ol foods.

Have you tried Grits or Cream of Wheat both are good complex carbs! Regular potatoes mashed with your butter spray and a little salt pepper and no carb no fat milk!! Tasty. I have also read that Pasta consisting of 100% Durum Whole Wheat is rather low on the GI scale, making it a decent PPWO option. Also, try Rissoto (Italian Rice) cooked in Chicken Broth, can be very tasty as well, as it is naturally creamy! I'll hit you up with some more ideas in a bit!
